What makes an individual powerful?

An individuals power depends on the person them self. Power is not something you are born with; you must want it and gain it. Power is depended upon the surroundings you are in and the people you are with. At first, Macbeth didn't want power enough to make sure he got what he wanted. I on the other hand, being the perfect wife I am, helped Macbeth make a decision to become a powerful being. I taught him that power is not handed to you. You must take control of it. Duncan was in the way of Macbeth gaining power so, being the smart women I am, I made Macbeth kill him to ensure that he really wanted all this power. Macbeth DID become king, right? I know, I know. I am just so smart!:)

  1. Dear Lady Macbeth,
The flowers on this page are quite lovely and seem unfitting for a woman like you, but wait...I do spy a serpent among the petals! I think you are right in saying that power is not handed to you. And perhaps you were right in trying to help your husband. I'm not sure murdering Duncan was the right kind of help. The two of you- with such ambition and power- could have accomplished so much more. Now look at you- you are both dead. So much for that! What if you had slowed down just a little bit to see if the witches prophecy was going to come true on its own? You two just rushed everything and it led to your demise. "Haste makes waste"

  2. Dear Lady Macbeth,
I just love how confident you are! You speak about yourself as if you are the best thing to ever step foot on this earth. That is a great attitude! I have confidence aswell, i mean thats the only way you get power right? We are ambitious, brave and confident women who dont let anything get in our way! We should meet and plan a murder together that way our knowlegde won't go to waste!

  3. I can certainly agree with you when you say you must want power in order to gain it. You are so confident in your actions, look at you getting Macbeth to do what you want. That's a powerful woman, men think they can control us, but you obviously prove them wrong. Power is definitely not handed to you, and you, have done a great job proving that.

  4. I agree with you, I also believe that power must be worked for and earned, not just given. You are a very powerful woman and it definitely shows in everything you do and accomplish. You remind me of myself, actually.
